Founder & Managing Partner
Miriah A. Soliz is a native Houstonian who’s been within the legal field long before her admittance to the Bar. Her commitment of working with clients and their families on a daily basis fuels her passion of helping others within the community in her capacity as a personal injury attorney.
In order to fulfill her dream of becoming a fierce advocate for those in need, Miriah attended the University of Houston Honors College where she graduated with honors and received a bachelor’s degree in political science. After college, Miriah received a prestigious scholarship to attend the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, where she was distinguished both in her academic pursuits and her extracurricular activities, including mock trial and client negotiation simulation. While in law school, Miriah received the Negotiation and Leadership Certificate at Harvard University and served overseas as a law clerk for the Supreme Court of India. Her time with the Supreme Court awarded her the opportunity to develop and excel in her legal writing skills in criminal and civil law.
Miriah has had the distinct honor and privilege of working with many top and notable law firms while pursuing her education as a lawyer. As a result, she honed her skills litigating personal injury claims and has extensive experience in navigating the multiple stages of litigation.

Biography
Miriah has the ability for finding victory in every case she takes on. When it comes to personal injury litigation, Miriah gets results and secures major verdicts against opponents with her strong trial skills. In her first year of practice, she obtained a $3 Million dollar verdict for a foot crush injury in Dallas County. She has been featured on major news networks throughout the United States for representing high profile cases such as Astroworld victims, plant explosion victims, and the Walmart shootings victims in El Paso, TX.
Miriah was born and raised in Houston, Texas from a working-class family. Miriah is the first attorney in her family and first-generation college graduate. She received her high school diploma from Friendswood High School and was active in her community often working with local judges and running campaigns for state representatives. After completing high school, Miriah attended the University of Houston and was enrolled in the honors program where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science. During her university years, she was a member of prestigious pre-law society Phi Alpha Delta and served as a Relations Analyst on the Student Government Association. After receiving her undergraduate degree, Miriah graduated from Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, Texas.
In law school, Miriah learned how to aggressively advocate on behalf of her clients while she participated in Thurgood Marshall’s highly awarded Mock Trial team and gained experience in law school by working for multiple personal injury litigation firms. During law school, Miriah worked on high level wrongful death and catastrophic injury trials and took depositions of corporate representatives from some of the largest corporations in the U.S. Miriah also attended Harvard Law School’s Program on Negotiation as part of their executive education program and received a negotiation certification.
Miriah has a track record of obtaining seven-figure settlements in single-plaintiff personal injury litigation and has aggressively litigated cases in court. When Miriah isn’t working, she is spending time with her husband Cedric and her dog Mochi and enjoys cooking, volunteering, and the beach. She also finds time to be involved as a board member on various Texas State bar committees.
